# CodexQuota

> CodexQuota is an independent macOS menu bar app for checking ChatGPT Codex quota in real time. It shows remaining 5-hour and weekly quota, reset times, and available reset credits, with automatic refresh every minute.

- Platform: Apple Silicon Mac, macOS 13 or later.
- Requires the ChatGPT desktop app and a signed-in account.
- Views: menu bar popover and optional floating window.
- Quota status: refreshes every minute; manual refresh is also available.
- Localization: 11 interface languages — English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Russian, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
- Quota checks run through Codex CLI on the user's Mac. CodexQuota does not request access to conversations, prompts, or project files.

## Installation

Download the ZIP, extract it, drag CodexQuota.app into Applications, then open it from Applications. The homepage includes the command-line download and full installation guide.
